Hanoi city tour (L)

Pick you up at hotel at 08:00 am. Starting day trip by visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex which comprises of Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum (closed on Mondays & Fridays), his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh museum. Next, visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 to worship Confucius and served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam. This is also the place to honor 82 Vietnamese doctorates who had passed through a number of rigid exams in feudal ages. Their names, birthdays and birthplaces are engraved in 82 headstones perched on crafted tortoises. It is well believed that touching the heads of these tortoises will bring luck. Its peaceful and green settings with nicely maintained lawns, gardens and lotus ponds make it a great hideaway from the city bustle and heat. Lunch at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, tour to Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays) which offers informative and well-documented display on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, include elaborate and colorful hill-tribal costumes,. The display continues on to the outside garden with fascinating examples of traditional houses from the Kinh’s to the ones of the ethnic groups in Central Highlands. Afterward, head to Ngoc Son Temple set on a tiny island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. The Ngoc Son temple dates back to the 13th century, and the lake itself is a picturesque focal point of Hanoi, frequented by tourists and locals alike. The rest of day you enjoy Water Puppet Show. Drop off at hotel. End of sevices

The Ethnology Museum is an ideal place for Vietnamese couples to take wedding photographs. It is listed on the top of must-see attractions in Hanoi, an ideal place to learn about the 54 different ethnic tribes of Vietnam.


Tran Quoc Pagoda

Built on a southern peninsula of West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda is one of the oldest pagodas  in Hanoi. Since its construction in the sixth century, it was moved and carried different names.


Water puppet show

The Water Puppet show provides an interesting show and a real feast for the eyes. The puppet is controlled by puppeteers through a rod dancing on green water of a pool.
